What we’ve been told

Frequently asked questions

  • We integrate a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to meet your unique needs, including somatic awareness and mindfulness practices. At our core, we are person-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. Getting to know you helps us to determine a supportive therapeutic approach.

  • We are not in-network with any insurance plans but we can provide you with an invoice or superbill for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

  • The rate per 50-minute individual therapy session is $200.

The rate for relationship sessions are as follows:

    60 minutes at $295

    90 minutes at $375

  • You determine how long you want to continue therapy, which many people do for months or years, depending on what you want to address and the life transitions you experience. For significant and sustained change, a commitment to regular sessions is most supportive.

  • The first session is spent orienting you and learning more about your hopes for therapy. We will typically go over essentials you need to know about confidentiality and consent, then make space for you to begin sharing what brought you to therapy.

  • Sharing our challenges and troubles with anyone can feel scary and hard. That’s why working with a trained professional matters, the pace of therapy and the tools you will learn help to support you with emotional regulation during and between sessions. Many feelings can arise on your therapy journey, the uncomfortable ones and the ones you’ve been longing for too. It will take courage, and we’ll be supporting you along the way.

  • It's possible, like in any relationship, and it's okay.

A positive connection between you and your therapist paves the way for positive outcomes. If it doesn't feel like a fit, let's try talking about it to determine how best to move forward. If that means supporting you to transition to another care provider, we'd be happy to. Your care is what's most important.
